- Why don't you believe in God?
I don't believe in God because there's no evidence whatsoever to support such an idea.
A religious book such as the Bible is not evidence for God's existence, it's evidence for the existence of religious books.
The fantastical stories in such religious books are also not evidence for God, they're evidence for fantastical stories.
And, finally, the people who have faith in such fantastical stories in such religious books are not evidence for God,
they're evidence for people who have rejected reason.
There has never been a single rational argument or a single shred of scientific evidence for God.
And because I believe in reason, logic, and science, I cannot believe in God.
To have faith in God would be a sin against my own rational mind.
